This notice explains what User Companies Ltd does with personal information collected through Yachtvane.

Browsing the site

You can read every guide without giving us any personal information. We don’t use advertising cookies.

Partner links

When you click a partner link, the partner’s site may record that you came from Yachtvane so it can pay us a commission. Its own privacy notice applies from then on.

Charter requests

If you send a charter request, we collect your name, email and trip details, and use them only to pass your request to a charter partner, with your consent. Requests are stored in our own lead inbox, hosted by Cloudflare, and are only seen by the User Companies Ltd team and that partner. To stop abuse we also keep a one-way scrambled code made from your connection address, not the address itself. We keep requests for up to 12 months, then delete them.

Newsletter

If you sign up to our email, we keep your email address to send it, until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@usercompanies.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
