How we research

Every destination guide on Yachtvane lists the pages its facts came from and the date we last checked them.

Where facts come from

• Licence rules: government and port authority publications where they exist, then charter companies’ published requirements.
• Seasons and winds: charter companies and sailing guides for the area, cross-checked where they disagree.
• Fees and taxes: official sources or the charter company’s own pages, quoted only as they state them.

What we don’t do

• We don’t invent prices. Charter prices change by week, yacht and company, so we point you to where you can compare them.
• We don’t publish reviews we can’t verify.
• We don’t let partners change what a guide says. Partner links are labelled as affiliate links.

How often we check

We review destination guides and add new ones every week. If you spot something out of date, email hello@usercompanies.com.
